KISH, Florence – of Flint, age 87, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2012 at Bristol Manor-Davison, MI. A Funeral Service will be held 12:30 p.m. Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Heritage United Church of Christ, 7074 Davison Rd., Davison; Rev. Jim James officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. On Thursday, there will be visitation at the church from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Heritage United Church of Christ.

Florence was born in Chicago, IL on April 27, 1925, daughter of the late Herman and Mabel Haack. She married Steve Kish on October 7, 1948 in Flint, MI. Florence was a faithful and dedicated member of Heritage United Church of Christ and W.I.B.C. She was a collector of Cherished Teddies and teddy bears and enjoyed crafts, watching the Detroit Tigers and NASCAR.

Florence is survived by her son, Darwin; sister, Earlene Rann; grandchildren, Jody (Elisa) Haack, Chris (Laurie) Haack; 5 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Steve; 1 brother; 3 sisters.
